Is the Casio AE-1200WH worth it?

Yes, if you want a light digital watch with world time, a 10-year battery and 100-meter water resistance for under $40. At $37.98 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, it is a reasonable price for what it does.

How does it compare with the Casio F-91W?

The AE-1200WH adds world time, a map display and 100-meter water resistance, where the F-91W is smaller and has only 30-meter resistance. The AE-1200WH is the better pick for travel and swimming.

Is it really 100-meter water resistant?

Yes, Casio rates it to 100 meters, which covers swimming and showering. It is not a dive watch, so avoid deep diving and pressing buttons underwater.

How long does the battery last?

Casio rates the CR2025 cell at about 10 years. Backlight and alarm use shorten that, but most owners get several years at minimum.

The watch with its resin band and a CR2025 battery already installed. No charger or extra band is included.

This model sits in a low price band year-round, and discounts are usually small. Watch for drops below the mid-$30s during sales events.

Our take on the Casio Men's Black AE-1200WH-1AJH Wristwatch

The Casio AE-1200WH-1AJH is a resin-cased digital watch with a world-time map display, a 10-year CR2025 battery and 100-meter water resistance. It weighs 39 g and measures about 45 × 42.1 × 12.5 mm, so it wears light on the wrist. Its best new price is $37.98 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, the only new listing tracked. That sits near the low end of what this model typically sells for, so the price is fair rather than a standout deal.
