Questions and answers

Is the CHITA sectional good for everyday sleeping?

It is fine for occasional guests, but the pull-out mattress is thinner than a real bed. Regular sleepers should add a mattress topper or plan for a dedicated bed.

Can the ottoman go on either side?

Yes. The ottoman is movable, so you can place it at either end as a chaise or use it separately as a footrest or extra seat.

How much room does a 97-inch sectional need?

Plan for at least 97 inches of wall space plus clearance for the sleeper to pull out. Measure doorways and hallways before ordering, since the sections ship separately but are still bulky.

What is the price and where is it sold?

The best new price is $1,380.38 at Lowe's as of November 6, 2026. Only one store lists it new, so compare against used or open-box listings if you want to save.

Does the gray fabric resist stains?

CHITA does not market this fabric as stain-resistant. Treat spills quickly and consider a fabric protector or slipcovers if kids or pets use the sofa.

Is assembly required?

Yes. The sectional arrives in sections and needs to be assembled and connected. Two people make it faster and safer.

Where is the CHITA 97-Inch Gray Sleeper Sectional Sofa with Movable Ottoman cheapest?

At Lowe's, for $1,380.38, as of our latest check.
