Our take on the Christmas Squishy Advent Calendar

The Christmas Squishy Advent Calendar is a 24-piece countdown calendar of mystery dumpling squishies, with one squishy behind each door. It is aimed at kids and collectors who like blind-box surprises, and the mystery character format gives it a light collectible angle. At $16.44 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare it against.

Questions and answers

Is the Christmas Squishy Advent Calendar worth it?
At $16.44 it works out to under 70 cents per squishy, which is reasonable for a daily December surprise. It is a novelty gift, so expect short-lived play rather than a lasting toy.
What is inside each door?
Each of the 24 doors holds one mystery dumpling squishy, part of a collectible character line. You cannot choose which characters you get.
Is it safe for young children?
The squishies are small novelty items, so keep them away from toddlers who mouth toys. It suits school-age kids better than preschoolers.
When is the best time to buy it?
Advent calendars usually sell at full price through late November and get discounted in early December once the countdown has started. Buying before December 1 means you get the full 24 days.
Is it a good gift for a collector?
It is a fun low-cost way to add mystery dumpling squishies to a collection, but the characters are blind-packed. Collectors who want specific characters may prefer buying them individually.
Where is the Christmas Squishy Advent Calendar cheapest?
At Walmart, for $16.44, as of our latest check.
