Our take on the Christopher Knight Home 89.3 inch Modern Velvet Sofa with Throw Pillows

The Christopher Knight Home Modern Velvet Sofa is an 89.3-inch three-seat sofa upholstered in khaki velvet, with rolled arms, a wood frame and two throw pillows included. Its low 13.3-inch back and 29-inch seat depth give it a lounge-like, mid-century look rather than a tall, upright profile. The 300 lb weight capacity is low for a sofa this long, so it suits lighter use. No current price was provided, so check the latest best price against its recent range before buying.

Questions and answers

Is this sofa good for everyday family use?
It is better suited to lighter use. The 300 lb weight capacity and 13.3-inch back height mean it is not built for heavy daily lounging or tall users who want head support.
How many people does the 89.3-inch sofa seat?
Three adults fit across the 89.3-inch length, though the 300 lb total capacity limits how much weight it should carry at once.
Is the seat deep enough to curl up on?
The 29-inch seat depth is generous and works for lounging, but shorter users may find their feet do not reach the floor and may want a cushion behind them.
What is included with the sofa?
The sofa ships with throw pillows as listed. Assembly of the wood frame and legs is typically required.
How should I clean the velvet?
Vacuum with a soft brush attachment and blot spills promptly. Avoid soaking the fabric, and test any cleaner on a hidden area first.
When is the best time to buy it?
Furniture discounts cluster around holiday sales and end-of-season clearances. Compare the current price with its recent range before buying.
