Questions and answers

Do I need a box spring with this bed?
No. The frame includes slats, so a queen mattress can sit directly on them. A box spring would only raise the mattress height.
Is $289.99 a good price for it?
That is the best new price across the three stores listing it as of November 4, 2026, at Walmart. With only three sellers, compare all three before buying, since stock and pricing on upholstered furniture move around.
What mattress size fits?
A standard queen mattress. The frame is 69 in wide and 86.25 in long, so a queen mattress leaves a small border of frame around the edges.
How much weight can it hold?
The frame is rated for up to 800 lb total. That covers the mattress plus sleepers and is generous for a bed in this price range.
How hard is assembly?
Expect a couple of hours and a second person. The headboard, side rails and slats bolt together, and the upholstered pieces are bulky to lift alone.
How do I clean the teddy plush fabric?
Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, and vacuum regularly with an upholstery attachment. Avoid soaking the fabric, and keep pets with claws off the headboard.
Where is the Christopher Knight Home Minimalist Teddy Plush Platform Bed with Curved Headboard cheapest?
At Walmart, for $289.99, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Christopher Knight Home Minimalist Teddy Plush Platform Bed with Curved Headboard?
4 stores we checked sell it, including Overstock, Lowe's, Walmart, Bed Bath & Beyond.
