Is this set worth $509?

At $509 at English Elm as of November 5, 2026, it is in line with other solid acacia chat sets, which typically run $400 to $700. You are paying for real wood rather than resin, so it is a fair price if you want that look and will maintain the wood.

How does it compare with a resin or metal chat set?

Acacia looks more like indoor furniture and is heavier and sturdier than most resin sets. Resin and powder-coated metal need less upkeep and handle rain better, while this set needs oiling and cushion care.

Do I have to assemble it?

Yes. The set ships flat and requires assembly, typically bolting the chair frames and attaching the table legs. Budget about an hour with a screwdriver or hex key.

Can the cushions stay outside in the rain?

They are water resistant, not waterproof. Light drizzle is fine, but bring them in or cover them during heavy rain and store them over winter to prevent mildew and fading.

Each chair is about 18.5 inches deep and 16 inches high at the seat frame, so the set fits a small patio or balcony. Measure your space before ordering, since the table adds width between the chairs.

Outdoor furniture usually drops at the end of summer, from late August through October, and again around Black Friday. With only two stores listing it new, compare both before buying.
