Our take on the Cicimlu 12 inch Mattress in a Box Gel Memory Foam Hybrid Mattress with Individually Wrapped Pocket Coils

The Cicimlu 12-inch hybrid mattress combines a gel memory foam top layer with individually wrapped pocket coils and a Eurotop finish, sold compressed in a box. It comes in Twin, Full, Queen and King, with a 12-inch or 14-inch profile. It is a budget hybrid aimed at shoppers who want coil support and foam comfort without paying major-brand prices. Its 3.8 out of 5 rating from 43 buyers suggests a mixed reception rather than a proven performer.

Pros
  • Pocket coils give more bounce and edge support than all-foam beds
  • Gel memory foam top layer aims to sleep cooler than plain foam
  • Eurotop construction adds a plush surface layer
  • Ships compressed in a box and expands on its own
  • Available in four sizes and two thicknesses
Cons
  • Small review base of 43 ratings, so reliability is hard to judge
  • 3.8 out of 5 is below what top-rated hybrids earn
  • No published firmness rating, so feel is a gamble
  • Gel foam and coil hybrids at this price rarely match premium durability
  • Returns and warranty depend on the seller, not a brand store

Questions and answers

Is the Cicimlu hybrid mattress worth it?
At a budget hybrid price it can be a reasonable pick for a guest room or a first apartment. The 3.8 out of 5 rating means you should weigh the return policy before buying.
How firm is it?
Cicimlu does not publish a firmness rating. Hybrids with pocket coils and a Eurotop usually land medium to medium-firm, but expect some variance between units.
Does it work on an adjustable base or sofa bed?
A 12-inch hybrid with coils is flexible enough for most adjustable bases. For sofa beds, check that the frame's weight limit and depth suit a 12-inch mattress.
How long does it take to expand?
Compressed hybrids typically reach most of their height within 24 to 48 hours. Give it up to 72 hours before judging the feel.
What sizes and thicknesses are available?
Twin, Full, Queen and King, in 12-inch and 14-inch profiles. The 14-inch version adds height and a bit more foam.
When is the price lowest?
Mattress-in-a-box prices usually dip during holiday sales and clearance events. Track the price history here rather than buying on impulse.
What do buyers say about the Cicimlu 12 inch Mattress in a Box Gel Memory Foam Hybrid Mattress with Individually Wrapped Pocket Coils?
Rated 3.8 out of 5 from 43 ratings.
