Does the Citizen Axiom need a battery?

No. Eco-Drive charges from any light source, so there is no battery to replace.

Is a 32mm case too small for a man?

It wears small. Most men's watches run 38mm to 42mm, so try one on if you have a larger wrist.

Is $308 a good price?

No. It has traded between $189.97 and $245 recently, so $308 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026 is well above that range.

It is water resistant, which covers rain and hand washing. Do not swim or dive with it unless the caseback states a higher rating.

What powers the watch?

A quartz solar movement. Light charges a capacitor that runs the quartz timekeeping.

What comes in the box?

Typically the watch, its strap and Citizen's warranty paperwork. Confirm the exact contents with the seller.

Our take on the Citizen Men's Axiom Eco-Drive Watch

The Citizen Axiom is a men's analog watch with Citizen's Eco-Drive movement, which charges from light so it never needs a battery change. The listing shows a 32mm round case, which is small for a men's watch and closer to a women's or unisex size, so check the case width before buying. The best new price is $308 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, well above the recent daily range of $189.97 to $245, so this is not a good moment to buy.
