Is the Bear Threads Classic Swim Brief worth $38.00?

It is priced at the higher end for a single swim brief. You are paying for the pouch construction, chlorine resistance and the wide size range. If you want pouch support and hip coverage, it is a reasonable buy at $38.00 at VOCLA as of November 4, 2026.

The listing is inconsistent: the specs say 100% polyester, while the description says 80% nylon and 20% elastane. Ask the store to confirm before ordering if fabric matters to you.

How does the Classic cut differ from a racer brief?

The Classic cut gives more coverage over the hip while keeping the same pouch and silhouette. It suits men who find a racer brief too narrow.

Is it chlorine resistant?

Yes. The fabric is described as chlorine resistant for long-lasting wear, and it is rated UPF 50+ for sun protection.

What sizes are available?

Sizes run from S to 5XL. The external drawstring lets you tighten the fit.
