Is $245.39 a good price for this bed?

Only Macy's lists it new at $245.39 as of November 7, 2026, so there is no other store price to compare. For a queen platform bed with drawers, lights and a charging headboard, that is a typical mid-range figure.

Do I need a box spring?

No. The frame has slats, so a mattress sits directly on them. A box spring would add height you probably don't need.

What mattress size fits?

It is a queen frame, so use a standard queen mattress, about 60 by 80 inches.

How do the lights and charging station work?

The headboard has LED lighting and a charging station built in. Both need power, so plan for an outlet near the head of the bed.

How much storage do the drawers give?

The drawers sit under the bed and are meant for bedding, clothes or shoes. They are shallow, so treat them as extra storage rather than a full dresser replacement.

Does it come with the mattress?

No. It is frame only, so the mattress is sold separately.
