Our take on the Cloud Couch Modular

The Cloud Couch Modular is a fabric sectional built on a high-density foam core wrapped in real goose down, with removable, machine-washable slipcovers and tool-free metal connectors between modules. It stands out for adjustable cushion fill, a stain- and moisture-resistant performance fabric, and a hidden storage compartment in the ottoman module. The latest listed price is $1,899 at Sofatica as of November 3, which sits near the top of its recent $1,699 to $1,949 range. It is a comfort-first couch aimed at households that want a soft seat and low-maintenance covers.

Questions and answers

Is the Cloud Couch Modular worth it?
If you want a very soft down seat with washable covers and a layout you can change, it is a strong pick. If you prefer a firm couch or want to spend less, look at foam-only sectionals.
How does it compare with a standard foam sofa?
The down wrap makes it softer and more sink-in than a foam-only couch, and the fill is adjustable. The trade-off is more fluffing and a higher price.
Are the covers really machine-washable?
Yes. The slipcovers are removable and machine-washable, and the performance fabric resists stains and moisture. Wash on a gentle cycle and air-dry to protect the fit.
Can I add modules later?
Yes. The tool-free metal connectors let you join additional modules to the same couch. Check that the fabric color matches your existing pieces.
What comes in the box?
The listed set includes one armless chair with frame, duvet and cover, one seat cushion with insert and cover, and one back pillow with insert and cover. The storage ottoman is a separate module.
When is it cheapest?
The recent range runs from $1,699 to $1,949, and the current $1,899 at Sofatica as of November 3 is near the high end. Holiday and clearance sales are the usual times to see the low end.
