What size room will the CNS 1500 Plus LCD heat?

Stiebel Eltron rates it for about 150 sq. ft. at 1125 W. It suits a bathroom, bedroom or small office, not a large open living area.

Does it need a special circuit?

Yes. It draws 15 A and should be on a dedicated circuit, wired by a qualified electrician. It is not a plug-in space heater.

Can I set a schedule?

Yes. The LCD thermostat includes a timer, so you can set on and off periods. There is no remote control; you change settings on the unit.

What happens if the room gets very cold?

The anti-freeze setting keeps the heater running just enough to prevent freezing, which helps in basements, cabins or garages.

Is $269 a good price?

That is the best new price among the two stores listing it as of November 5, 2026. Wall heaters of this type rarely discount deeply, so it is a fair street price rather than a markdown.

Our take on the CNS 1500 Plus LCD

The Stiebel Eltron CNS 1500 Plus LCD is a wall-mounted electric convection heater rated at 1125 W, enough for rooms up to about 150 sq. ft. It adds an LCD thermostat, a timer and an anti-freeze setting, so it can run on a schedule and hold a set temperature without a separate controller. The slim 3 15/16-inch steel casing fits tight wall space and needs a 15 A circuit. Its best new price is $269 at Amazon as of November 5, 2026, with two stores listing it new.
