Can I swim with the Coach Keane watch?

No. It is water-resistant to 99 feet, which covers splashes and brief handwashing, but Coach does not rate it for swimming or showering.

Does it need a battery?

Yes. It uses a quartz movement, so it runs on a battery that needs replacing every few years rather than winding or a charging cable.

What is the strap made of?

The band is leather with a buckle closure. Leather straps should be kept away from prolonged water contact to avoid cracking.

Is this a men's or women's watch?

Coach lists the Keane as a men's watch. Check the case diameter before buying if you have a small wrist, since the width is not stated in the specs.

Is it good for everyday office wear?

Yes. The stainless steel case, plain bezel and leather strap read as business casual, and quartz keeps it low-maintenance for daily use.

Our take on the Coach Keane Watch

The Coach Keane is a men's analog dress watch with a stainless steel round case, a leather strap and a buckle closure. It runs on a quartz movement and is water-resistant to 99 feet, so it handles rain and handwashing but not swimming. It is a straightforward office and date-night watch rather than a sports or smartwatch.
