Is the COLAMY velvet accent chair worth it?

It is a budget-friendly way to add two matching velvet chairs to a living room. Buy it for looks and light use; if you need a firm everyday lounge chair, look at a higher-density foam or sprung seat instead.

How big is each chair?

Each chair is about 33.07 inches wide, 28.54 inches deep and 28.54 inches tall, and weighs about 13.1 kg. Check doorways and stair turns before ordering a pair.

What is the seat fill and will it sag?

The seat and back are filled with sponge over a three-leg frame. Sponge softens over time, so expect some compression with daily use; rotate the chairs and avoid standing on the seat.

Does the set include two chairs?

Yes, the listing is a set of two chairs in green velvet. No ottoman or throw pillows are included.

How do I clean the velvet?

Vacuum with a soft brush attachment and blot spills right away with a damp cloth. Avoid soaking the fabric, and keep the chairs out of direct sun to limit fading.

When is the price lowest?

Furniture sets like this tend to dip during major sale events and at end of season. Compare the current price against its recent range before buying.

Our take on the COLAMY Modern Velvet Accent Chairs Set of 2

The COLAMY Modern Velvet Accent Chair is a barrel-style armchair sold in pairs, upholstered in green velvet over sponge fill with a three-leg base. Its rounded, armless-looking silhouette and low 28.5-inch height suit living rooms and reading corners. At roughly 33 inches wide and 28.5 inches deep, each chair is compact enough for small spaces but still a full seat. It is a style-led piece rather than a heavy-duty lounge chair.
