Our take on the Cole Haan 51mm Polarized Angular Round Sunglasses ch9001 001

These are Cole Haan's ch9001 sunglasses in black: an angular round metal frame with 51mm polarized gradient lenses and an adjustable bridge. The polarized gradient lenses cut glare while staying lighter at the bottom, and the adjustable nose bridge helps the frame sit on different face shapes. The unisex design leans toward a slim, retro-metal look rather than a sporty wrap.

Questions and answers

Are these lenses actually polarized?
Yes. Cole Haan lists the ch9001 lenses as polarized and gradient, so they cut glare and are lighter toward the bottom of the lens.
What does the 51mm size mean?
It is the lens width in millimeters. At 51mm this is a medium, slightly small frame, so people who prefer oversized sunglasses should look at larger options.
Will they fit a wide or narrow face?
The bridge is adjustable, which helps on both narrower and wider noses. The 51mm lens width still keeps the overall frame on the smaller side.
Can I wear them while driving?
Yes, the polarization helps with road and dashboard glare. Some car screens and head-up displays can look darker or distorted through polarized lenses.
What comes in the box?
Cole Haan typically ships these with a case and cleaning cloth. Check the listing's included-items section before ordering if the case matters to you.
