Is 0.9 cu.ft big enough?

It fits a standard dinner plate and most mugs and bowls. It is tight for large casserole dishes or a full-size turkey platter.

Does 1,400 watts need a special outlet?

It draws about 12 amps, so a dedicated 15-amp kitchen circuit is safest. Avoid running it on the same circuit as a kettle or toaster.

Expect the microwave, a glass turntable and roller ring, and the manual. Confirm the exact contents with the store listing before ordering.

Is it worth it over a cheaper 0.7 cu.ft model?

You pay for the retro design and higher wattage. If looks do not matter, a plain 0.7 to 0.9 cu.ft model usually costs less.

Small-appliance prices often dip during holiday sales and back-to-school events. Track its price history and buy below the recent average.
