Questions and answers

Is the IQ-8000 easy to transport?
It folds and fits most car trunks, but at about 53 lbs it takes two people or a lift to load. It is best for riders who travel by car with a helper.
How does the remote control work?
The remote works up to 30 feet away, so a caregiver can drive the chair or park it from a distance. The rider can still use the 360-degree joystick.
Will the 20-inch seat fit me?
The seat is 20 inches wide and 18 inches deep with memory foam padding, and the chair holds up to 286 lbs. Riders who need a narrower seat or a reclining back should look elsewhere.
Can I use it outdoors?
Yes, the shock-absorption frame and 8-inch front wheels handle pavement, grass and light gravel. Very rough ground or steep curbs are not its strength.
Is $1,899 a good price?
DME Superstore lists it at $1,899 as of November 7, 2026, and it is the only new price listed. Compare against other power chairs with a 20-inch seat and remote control before deciding.
What comes in the box?
You get the wheelchair, joystick controller and remote. Check with the store on the battery, charger and any tools before ordering.
