Our take on the Conico 2-Pack Solar Security Camera System with Base Station

The Conico 2-Pack Solar Security Camera System pairs two 2K battery cameras with a base station that stores footage on a micro SD card. Each camera claims 365 days of battery life with solar top-up, 360-degree coverage and night vision, and works over Wi-Fi with Alexa voice control. The price has barely moved since late October 2026: $116.98 on November 1, 2026 against $116.99 on October 31, 2026, so there is no discount to wait for.

Pros
  • 2K (4 MP) resolution on both cameras
  • Solar charging with a claimed 365-day battery life
  • 360-degree field of view per camera
  • Base station keeps recordings on a micro SD card, no cloud plan required
  • Works with Alexa
  • Two cameras and the base station in one box
Cons
  • No NRTL safety certification listed
  • Single-channel base station limits how many cameras it can manage
  • Fixed wall mount only, no pan or tilt
  • Battery life depends on sunlight; shaded walls will need recharging
  • Only 19 ratings, so the 4.7 score rests on thin evidence

Questions and answers

Is the Conico 2-pack worth it at $116.98?
At $116.98 for two 2K solar cameras plus a base station, it is cheap per camera. The catch is the thin review base and the missing NRTL safety listing. Buy it if you want local storage and no subscription; pay more for a certified brand if safety paperwork matters.
Do I need a subscription to record?
No. The base station records to a micro SD card, which you supply. You only pay for the card.
How long does the battery really last?
Conico claims 365 days with solar charging. Real runtime depends on how much direct sun the panels get and how often the cameras record; expect to recharge sooner on shaded walls.
Does it work with Alexa?
Yes, Alexa is supported for voice control and viewing. Setup goes through the Conico app over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.
What is in the box?
Two cameras, one base station, mounting hardware and a charging cable. A micro SD card is not included, so add one before first use.
When is it cheapest?
The price has sat at $116.98 to $116.99 since October 31, 2026, so there is no sale pattern to wait for. Buy when you need it.
