Our take on the Corelle Hushed Lines 12-Piece Glass Dinnerware Set

The Corelle Hushed Lines 12-Piece Set is a service for four in Corelle's Vitrelle glass: four dinner plates, four 8.5-inch salad plates and four 18-ounce soup and cereal bowls, decorated with soft sketched lines. Vitrelle is the laminated glass Corelle is known for: light, stackable and resistant to chips and cracks, and these pieces are dishwasher, microwave and oven safe to 350°F. The best new price is $77.77 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, with 5 stores selling it new.

Best forSmall households and couples who want a light, stackable everyday setFamilies replacing heavy stonewareAnyone who wants microwave- and oven-safe platesBuyers who want a simple, quiet pattern that mixes with other whiteware

Pros

Vitrelle glass is thin and light but resists chips and cracks
Dishwasher, microwave and oven safe to 350°F
Stackable, so it takes little cabinet space
Neutral sketched-line pattern suits most tables
12 pieces cover four people with plates and bowls

Cons

No mugs or serving pieces in the 12-piece count
Bowls hold 18 ounces, small for cereal or soup main courses
Glass can shatter into small pieces if dropped hard
Pattern is subtle enough that some may want more contrast

Questions and answers

Is this set worth it at $77.77?: At $77.77 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, it is about $6.50 per piece for a chip-resistant, microwave-safe set. That is a fair price for Corelle Vitrelle, though watch for sales that bring 12-piece sets lower.
How does it compare with Corelle's plain white sets?: Same Vitrelle glass and the same care instructions. You pay a little more for the Hushed Lines pattern; plain white sets are often cheaper and easier to add to later.
Can the plates and bowls go in the oven?: Yes, they are oven safe to 350°F, and also microwave and dishwasher safe. Do not use them under a broiler or on a stovetop.
What is in the box?: Four 10.25-inch dinner plates, four 8.5-inch salad plates and four 18-ounce soup and cereal bowls. No mugs or serving pieces are included.
Will the pattern wear off?: The design is fired onto the glass, so it should not wash off in the dishwasher. Avoid abrasive pads on the pattern to keep it looking new.
When is it cheapest?: Corelle sets usually drop during Black Friday and back-to-school sales. Check the price history here before buying if you are not in a hurry.
Where is the Corelle Hushed Lines 12-Piece Glass Dinnerware Set cheapest?: At Walmart, for $77.77, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Corelle Hushed Lines 12-Piece Glass Dinnerware Set?: Rated 4 out of 5 from 16 ratings.
Where can I buy the Corelle Hushed Lines 12-Piece Glass Dinnerware Set?: 8 stores we checked sell it, including Walmart, Macy's, ModeSens, Kohl's, JCPenney.
