- Is the top real solid oak or veneer?
- It is listed as solid oak wood, not veneer over engineered wood. Expect visible grain variation between pieces.
- How big is it and will it fit my sofa?
- The top is 47 inches wide and oval, which suits a three- to four-seat sofa. Leave about 14 to 18 inches between the table and the seat front for legroom.
- What does the drawer hold?
- It is a single front drawer sized for remotes, coasters, chargers and small clutter. The open shelf below takes books, trays and baskets.
- How much assembly is required?
- Expect to attach the legs and possibly the shelf; owners describe setup as quick. Two people help because of the oak's weight.
- Is $269.99 a good price?
- It is the only new price listed, $269.99 at Wayfair as of November 7, 2026, so there is no recent range to judge against. Solid oak at this size is uncommon under $300.
- When is it cheapest?
- Wayfair runs seasonal furniture sales, and this table is most likely to dip during those events. Check the price history before buying outside a sale.
