Cort Space G6MS Headless Multiscale in Semi Gloss Trans Black

The Cort Space G6MS is a headless multi-scale guitar designed for modern players who want clarity, balance, and ergonomic comfort across the entire neck. Its okoume body keeps weight low while delivering a fo cused, resonant response, and the compact headless format improves balance by removing excess mass from the headstock. The result is a guitar that feels controlled and comfortable whether seated or standing, with consistent response across all 24 frets.

A 25 to 25.5 inch multi-scale layout improves string tension and intonation, keeping low strings tight and defined while allowing higher strings to feel slinkier and more expressive. A roasted maple and walnut neck adds stability, while stainless steel frets and a compound-radius fingerboard support fast, accurate playing. Finished in semi-gloss Trans Black with black hardware, the Space G6MS delivers modern performance with a clean, purposeful aesthetic.

Full Description

Multi-scale design for balanced tension

The Space G6MS uses a 25 to 25.5 inch multi-scale layout to optimise string tension across the fretboard. Lower strings benefit from increased length, improving clarity, punch, and intonation during down-tuned or high-gain playing. Higher strings remain comfortable and responsive, making bends and vibrato feel natural rather than stiff. Angled frets follow the hand’s natural movement, reducing strain during extended sessions and supporting consistent technique across complex chord shapes and fast lead passages.

Headless construction and custom hardware

Removing the headstock significantly improves balance and reduces overall weight, helping the guitar sit naturally against the body. Cort’s custom-designed headless hardware anchors strings securely at both ends, ensuring tuning stability and efficient string energy transfer. The simplified string path reduces friction points that can affect tuning reliability during aggressive playing. It's a guitar that's been designed to meet the needs of musicians, offering exceptional playability.

Fast neck feel and modern fretwork

A five-piece roasted maple and walnut neck provides strength and resistance to environmental changes, helping maintain a consistent setup over time. The Ergo V neck profile supports the hand comfortably while encouraging speed and control. A roasted maple fingerboard with a 12 to 15.75 inch compound radius transitions smoothly from chord work to upper-fret lead playing. Tall medium-jumbo stainless steel frets add durability, smooth bends, and precise articulation across the neck.

Voiced Tone pickups and versatile control

Dual Cort Voiced Tone VTH77 humbuckers deliver articulate, high-output tones with tight low end and smooth highs. They respond clearly to picking dynamics and maintain definition under distortion. A five-way switch expands tonal flexibility, allowing access to brighter, cleaner sounds alongside full humbucker power. With simple volume and tone controls, the electronics remain intuitive, making the Space G6MS adaptable to modern rhythm work, lead playing, and layered recording setups.
