Our take on the Costway 2-in-1 Folding Treadmill with Remote Control and LED

The Costway 2-in-1 Folding Treadmill is a budget walking-pad style machine that folds flat and doubles as an under-desk treadmill with a workstation bar. It tops out at 8 mph and carries up to 265 lb, and a remote controls speed without reaching for the console. At $106.79 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent price range, which is where this model usually lands.

Questions and answers

Is the Costway 2-in-1 treadmill good for running?
It reaches 8 mph, but the short deck and small motor make it better for walking and slow jogging. Runners logging real mileage should look at a full-size treadmill.
Can I use it under a desk?
Yes. With the handrail folded down it works as a walking pad under a standing desk. The included workstation bar also lets you walk while using a laptop.
How much space does it need when folded?
It folds flat, so it stores under a bed or against a wall. Check the listed folded dimensions against your gap before buying.
What is the weight limit?
265 lb. Heavier users should expect more motor strain and faster wear.
Is $106.79 a good price?
That Walmart price as of November 5, 2026 is at the low end of what this model has sold for recently. It is a fair buy at that level.
Does it come with a remote?
