Our take on the Costway 2 Pieces Swivel Counter Height Barstool Set with Rubber Wood Legs

The Costway 2 Pieces Swivel Counter Height Barstool Set is a pair of fixed-height counter stools with rubber wood legs, a PVC leather seat and a partial backrest. Each stool swivels 360 degrees, holds up to 264 lbs and has a waterproof seat surface, so spills wipe clean. At 38 inches tall with a 16-inch seat depth, they suit standard 34-36 inch counters. The set is aimed at budget buyers furnishing a kitchen island or home bar, and its price sits in the low range for a two-stool set with wood legs and swivel.

Questions and answers

Is this set worth it compared with buying two single stools?
For a matched pair under a budget, yes. You get two swivel stools with wood legs in one order, though the PVC leather and firm padding show the lower price.
Will these fit my kitchen counter?
They are counter height at 38 inches tall, sized for counters about 34 to 36 inches high. They do not adjust, so measure your counter before buying.
How much weight does each stool hold?
Each stool is rated for 264 lbs and meets CPSC standards. The 37.5 lb figure is the shipping weight of the set, not the load limit.
Are the seats easy to clean?
Yes. The PVC leather surface is waterproof, so crumbs and spills wipe off with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh solvents that can dry out the material.
What is in the box?
Two stools and the hardware needed for assembly. Tools are usually included, and assembly takes about 20 to 30 minutes per stool.
When is the price lowest?
Costway furniture tends to dip during holiday sales and end-of-season clearances. Check the price history chart before buying to see whether the current price is near its low.
