Questions and answers

Is the Costway 27 Inch Electric Griddle worth it?
For the price, yes, if you want a large nonstick surface for family breakfasts or patio cooking. Expect budget-level heat consistency, not restaurant evenness.
How big is the cooking surface?
The listing calls it 27 inch, but the stated cooking surface is 9 inches wide. Check the full dimensions before buying if you need a specific size.
Does it need special wiring?
No. It draws 1,400 W, which a standard 120 V household outlet handles. Avoid running it on the same circuit as other high-draw appliances.
Can I use metal utensils on it?
Use plastic, wood or silicone tools. Metal spatulas and knives can scratch and chip the nonstick coating.
What comes in the box?
The griddle and its power cord. A lid, spatula and drip tray are not included unless the listing says otherwise.
When is it cheapest?
The best new price is $45.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026. Griddles like this often drop around spring and summer grilling sales.
