Our take on the Costway 30.5" Swivel Barstools Set of 2 with Backrest Faux Leather

The Costway 30.5-inch Swivel Barstools are a pair of upholstered counter-height stools with a faux leather seat, a padded backrest and a 360-degree swivel. Each stool is 20 inches wide, has a fixed footrest and needs assembly. The best new price is $171.99 at Best Buy as of November 4, 2026, and only one store lists them new, so there is no cheaper new option to compare against right now.

Questions and answers

Is $171.99 a good price for the pair?
It works out to about $86 per stool, which is fair for a padded swivel stool with a backrest. Only one store lists it new at $171.99 as of November 4, 2026, so watch for a second listing before assuming it is the floor.
What height counter do these fit?
The 30.5-inch figure is the seat height, which suits standard 40- to 42-inch bar counters. For a 36-inch kitchen counter, look for a 24- to 26-inch seat instead.
Do they swivel a full circle?
Yes, the seat swivels 360 degrees, so you can turn away from the counter without moving the base. The footrest stays fixed.
How much assembly is needed?
You attach the legs, footrest and seat, which typically takes 20 to 40 minutes per stool with the included hardware. A second person helps when lining up the base.
What is covered by the warranty?
Costway covers parts for one year. Keep the receipt, since claims usually need proof of purchase.
When is the price lowest?
Furniture like this tends to dip during holiday sales and back-to-school events. With one store listing it, set a price alert rather than waiting on a store-to-store comparison.
Where is the Costway 30.5" Swivel Barstools Set of 2 with Backrest Faux Leather cheapest?
At Best Buy, for $171.99, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Costway 30.5" Swivel Barstools Set of 2 with Backrest Faux Leather?
Rated 4 out of 5 from 22 ratings.
