Our take on the Costway 3PCS Patio Rattan Furniture Set Table & Chairs Set with Thick Cushions Garden

This is a three-piece outdoor seating set from Costway: two rattan-style chairs and a small matching table, sold with thick seat cushions. The wicker is woven over a metal frame, and the set is aimed at balconies, small patios and garden corners where a full dining set will not fit. It is a budget set rather than a long-term investment, so check the current price against its usual range before buying.

Questions and answers

Is this set worth buying?
It is a reasonable buy if you need a cheap two-seat outdoor corner and will store the cushions. Do not expect it to last many seasons in full sun and rain.
How does it compare with a metal bistro set?
Metal bistro sets usually last longer outdoors but often cost more and come without cushions. This set gives you the rattan look and cushions at a lower price.
Can the cushions stay outside in the rain?
No. The cushions are not fully waterproof, so bring them in or cover them when it rains to avoid water marks and mildew.
How many people does it seat?
Two. The set is two chairs and one small table, so it suits a couple or a quiet coffee spot rather than a dinner party.
What is in the box?
Two chairs, one table and the seat cushions, plus the hardware and instructions for assembly. Tools for assembly are generally not included.
When is it cheapest?
Outdoor furniture discounts most in late summer and early fall as stores clear seasonal stock. Check the price history before buying in spring.
