Is the Costway bamboo hamper worth it?

It is a low-cost option if you want a lidded, good-looking hamper for a bedroom or bathroom. Expect basic build quality; the bamboo frame and thin liner are not built for years of heavy family use.

How much laundry does 15.5 gallons hold?

About two average loads. That suits one or two people; a family of four will likely fill it in a day or two.

Can the liner bag be removed for washing?

Yes. The polyester-cotton bag lifts out so you can carry it to the washer. Check the care label before machine washing; the bamboo frame should only be wiped clean.

Can it go in a bathroom?

It can, but bamboo reacts to steady moisture. Keep it away from the shower and dry any splashes promptly to avoid warping.

What are the dimensions?

It is 24 inches tall with a 14.5 by 14.5 inch footprint. Measure your space, since the lid and frame need clearance to open.

Costway hampers tend to dip during seasonal home sales and back-to-school promotions. Check the price history before buying.
