Is this bed frame worth it?

At $139.99 at Target as of November 4, 2026, it is a low-cost way to get an upholstered headboard and a drawer. Expect budget materials rather than heirloom construction.

Does it need a box spring?

It is listed as a bed frame with a headboard, not a mattress, so check the listing for the slat or support system before buying. Most platform-style frames of this type do not require a box spring.

How much storage does the drawer hold?

There is one under-bed drawer. That is enough for bedding or off-season clothes, but not a substitute for a dresser.

What size mattress fits?

It is a queen-size frame, so it takes a standard queen mattress, typically 60 by 80 inches.

When is the price lowest?

Only one store lists it new, so there is no recent range to time a purchase against. Watch for Target promotions rather than waiting on cross-store competition.
