Is the Costway corduroy accent chair worth it?

At a budget accent-chair price it is reasonable if you want a soft, textured chair for occasional seating. It is not built for daily all-day use, and the 3.9 rating from 8 reviews is too small a sample to promise consistency.

How big is the chair and will it fit my room?

The seat is about 23 by 24.5 inches and 17 inches high, with a 19-inch-high, 23.5-inch-wide back. Check the full footprint against your space, since the arms add width beyond the seat.

Does it come assembled?

No. Adult assembly is required, though tools are provided. Expect to attach the legs and back yourself.

Is corduroy a good choice for a chair?

Corduroy is soft and hides small marks well, but its ridges collect lint and pet hair. A lint brush keeps it looking fresh.

How does it compare with a standard accent chair?

It sits lower at 17 inches and has a wider seat than many compact accent chairs. That makes it comfortable for lounging but less ideal for tall users or desks.

When is the best time to buy it?

Accent chairs like this tend to drop during seasonal furniture sales and clearance events. Check the price history before buying rather than assuming the listed price is the low.

Our take on the Costway Modern Accent Chair Corduroy Upholstered Lounge Chair

The Costway Modern Accent Chair is a single upholstered lounge chair in corduroy with a pillow back, pillow seat and arms. Its seat measures about 23 by 24.5 inches at 17 inches high, so it is a wide, low-slung chair rather than a compact side chair. It ships flat and needs adult assembly with the included tools. It is a budget accent piece for a bedroom corner, reading nook or small living room.
