Is the Costway U-shaped sectional worth it?

It is a value pick for a large room where seating capacity matters more than premium upholstery. Expect a firm seat and a multi-day break-in for the vacuum-packed cushions.

How long until the cushions fully expand?

Costway says up to 72 hours after unboxing. Fluff and rotate the cushions during that window to help them reach full shape.

Does it fit 6 people?

Costway rates it for 5 to 6 people across the 101.5-inch width. The two chaise ends each hold one person stretched out.

How much assembly does it need?

Assembly is required. The frame, 10 legs and cushions go together with the included user guide; plan on a couple of hours with two people.

Will it fit through a doorway?

It ships in boxes and is assembled in the room, so check the box dimensions against your entry path. The assembled footprint is 101.5" x 49.5" x 28.5".

One sectional couch and one user guide, with the cushions vacuum-packed inside. No tools beyond what the guide specifies are listed.

Our take on the Costway U-Shaped Sectional Sofa Double Chaise Living Room Couch

The Costway U-Shaped Sectional is a large fabric couch with two chaise ends, seating 5 to 6 people across a 101.5" x 49.5" footprint. It uses corduroy or chenille covers over high-density foam and pocket springs, with a wooden frame rated to 1000 lbs and 10 legs. Cushions ship vacuum-packed and need up to 72 hours to fully expand, and assembly is required. It is a budget-tier piece aimed at filling a big living room rather than a premium upholstered sofa.
