Is the 1500 thread count real?

No. It is a polyester sheet set, and the 1500 figure is a marketing count, not a cotton thread count. Judge it by the microfiber feel, not the number.

Will it fit my mattress?

The deep pocket fitted sheet is rated for mattresses up to about 14 inches deep. Measure your mattress and any topper before buying.

Is it good for hot sleepers?

Polyester traps heat more than cotton or linen, so hot sleepers often find it warm. If you sleep hot, a cotton or bamboo set may suit you better.

How do I care for it?

Machine wash and tumble dry low; the maker says do not iron. Skip high heat to protect the color and finish.

What comes in the set?

A flat sheet, a fitted sheet and two pillowcases — four pieces for a Full bed. The flat sheet measures 96 by 81 inches.

Is it worth it over cotton sheets?

It costs less and needs no ironing, but it is less breathable and less durable than good cotton. Choose it for price and easy care, not for cooling.

Our take on the Cosy House Collection 1500 Series Luxury 4 Piece Bed Sheet Set, Full, Gold

The Cosy House Collection 1500 Series is a four-piece sheet set — flat sheet, fitted sheet and two pillowcases — made from 100% polyester with a deep pocket fitted sheet. The "1500 thread count" figure is a polyester marketing number, not a cotton thread count, so expect a smooth, slightly slick microfiber feel rather than crisp cotton. The fitted sheet is cut for mattresses up to about 14 inches deep. It is a budget-priced set, and the gold color is a warm, saturated tone rather than a pale champagne.
