Our take on the CoverMates Custom Sofa & Loveseat Cushion Set

CoverMates makes made-to-order outdoor cushion sets for sofas and loveseats, cut to the dimensions you enter and covered in fade-resistant acrylic with dry-fast foam inside. The covers zip off for washing, and you pick the pattern; sand is the base color. Because every set is custom, pricing depends on size, so compare quotes before ordering.

Odd-size outdoor furniture that stock cushions don't fit

Questions and answers

How do I measure for a custom cushion set?
Measure the seat frame's length and width where the cushion sits, and the thickness you want. Measure twice and round to the nearest half inch, since custom covers can't be returned for a sizing mistake.
Is the acrylic fabric really fade resistant?
Acrylic is one of the more UV-stable outdoor fabrics, and CoverMates lists fade resistance as a feature. Expect it to hold color far better than polyester, though years of direct sun will still dull any fabric.
Can the covers be washed?
Yes. The zippered covers come off for cleaning, and the dry-fast foam is designed to shed water. Air-dry the covers rather than putting acrylic through a hot dryer.
Will the cushions stay put on a smooth frame?
There is no non-skid backing, so on slick metal or composite frames they can shift. A rug pad or grip mat under the cushion helps.
Is this set for indoor or outdoor use?
It is built for outdoor patio sofas and loveseats. The acrylic cover and dry-fast foam handle sun and damp better than indoor upholstery foam.
