Our take on the Cowin Bluetooth Soundbar for TV 50W

The Cowin Bluetooth Soundbar is a 32-inch 2.0 stereo bar rated at 50W RMS, with HDMI, optical, AUX and Bluetooth inputs and a remote control. It is a budget TV upgrade rather than a surround system, despite the "surround" output label. At $49.99 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, it sits at the only price recorded so far, so there is no cheaper history to wait for.

Best forBuyers on a tight budget who want louder TV dialogueSmall bedrooms and secondary TVsShoppers who want HDMI or optical without paying muchAnyone adding Bluetooth streaming to an older TV
Pros
  • 50W RMS from a 2.0 stereo bar is a real step up from built-in TV speakers
  • HDMI, optical, AUX and Bluetooth cover most TVs and phones
  • 32 inches wide fits under most 40- to 55-inch TVs
  • Remote control included
  • Light at about 5 lb and easy to wall-mount or set on a shelf
Cons
  • 2.0 stereo only; the "surround" label overstates what it does
  • No subwoofer, so bass will be limited
  • Bluetooth 2.0 is an old standard with weaker range and stability
  • No HDMI ARC or eARC listed, so TV volume control may need the Cowin remote
  • 3.3 out of 5 from 638 ratings suggests mixed owner satisfaction

Questions and answers

Is the Cowin 50W soundbar worth $49.99?
At $49.99 it is one of the cheapest ways to add HDMI and optical inputs to a TV. Expect clearer dialogue and modest bass, not room-filling surround sound.
Does it have HDMI ARC for TV remote volume control?
The listing names HDMI but not ARC or eARC. Plan on using the Cowin remote or the bar's own controls for volume unless your TV setup confirms otherwise.
Does it come with a subwoofer?
No. It is a 2.0 stereo bar with no separate subwoofer, so low-end output is limited compared with 2.1 systems.
How wide is it and will it fit my TV?
It is 32 inches wide and 2.5 inches thick, about 5 lb. That suits most 40- to 55-inch TVs on a stand or a shelf below the screen.
Can I stream music to it from my phone?
Yes, over Bluetooth, plus optical, HDMI and AUX wired inputs. Bluetooth 2.0 is an older version, so keep the phone close for a stable link.
When is it cheapest?
The only recorded price is $49.99 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, with no lower price in its short history. There is no past discount pattern to time a purchase around.
Where is the Cowin Bluetooth Soundbar for TV 50W cheapest?
At Walmart, for $49.99, as of our latest check.
Is the Cowin Bluetooth Soundbar for TV 50W at its lowest price?
Yes: $49.99 is the lowest price we've seen for it since November 2.
What do buyers say about the Cowin Bluetooth Soundbar for TV 50W?
Rated 3.3 out of 5 from 638 ratings.
