Our take on the Creativity for Kids Grow N' Glow Terrarium

The Grow N' Glow Terrarium is a craft-and-science kit that lets kids build a small mason-style jar terrarium with layers of colored sand, chia and wheatgrass seeds, and glow-in-the-dark stickers. It is aimed at roughly ages 6 and up and takes a few days to sprout, so it teaches patience as much as planting. The best new price is $11.99 at Kohl's as of November 7, 2026, which is at the low end for a kit that usually sells in the low-to-mid teens.
