Questions and answers

Is the Cuisinart CMW-100FR worth it?
At $159 at Distritech as of November 3, it is a reasonable buy if you want a stainless 1,000-watt microwave with simple controls. Cheaper 1.0 cu. ft. models exist, but few look this good.
How does it compare with the Cuisinart CMW-200?
The CMW-200 is a convection microwave with more cooking modes and a higher price. The CMW-100FR is microwave-only, so pick it if you just want to reheat and defrost.
What size plates fit inside?
The 1.0 cu. ft. cavity takes a standard dinner plate on the turntable with room to spare. Large rectangular casserole dishes may not fit.
What is in the box?
The microwave, a glass turntable and roller ring, and the manual. No trim kit or extra accessories are included.
When is it cheapest?
Microwave prices dip during Black Friday and end-of-year sales. Check the price history on this page before buying.
