The Cuisinart Contour 14-piece stainless steel set pairs nonstick interiors with an encapsulated base, so it works on induction and every other cooktop. It covers the basics: saucepans, a saute pan, skillet, 8-quart stock pot, a steaming insert and kitchen tools, with lids and dishwasher-safe cleanup. The nonstick coating is rated to 500°F, which is high for coated cookware. It is a broad starter set rather than a premium line, and it rates 3.9 out of 5 from 62 ratings.

Ratings average 3.9 out of 5 from 62, which suggests most owners are satisfied but a notable share are not. Complaints tend to center on coating durability and uneven heating rather than the set's range of pieces.
