Our take on the Cusimax 20 Bar Espresso Machine with Built-in Grinder

The Cusimax 20 Bar Espresso Machine is an all-in-one home setup with a built-in grinder, so you grind beans fresh for each shot instead of buying a separate grinder. It is rated to 20 bar of pump pressure, which is well above the 9 bar most espresso actually needs, so treat the number as marketing. It is a budget option for someone who wants espresso and grinding in one countertop unit. At $189.99 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against.

Pros
  • Built-in grinder saves buying a separate one
  • 20 bar pump, more than enough for espresso
  • One unit instead of two on the counter
  • Low price for a grinder-plus-espresso combo
  • NRTL listed, so it has been safety certified
Cons
  • Only 9 ratings, so the 4.3 score is thin evidence
  • Built-in grinders at this price are usually basic
  • 20 bar is far above the 9 bar espresso needs
  • No listed price history, so you cannot judge the deal
  • Few stores stock it, which limits price comparison

What reviewers say

The 4.3 out of 5 comes from just 9 ratings, so it is a weak signal. There is not enough owner feedback to say reliably how it holds up or how consistent the grinder is.

Pros
  • Convenience of grinding and brewing in one machine
Cons
  • Small number of ratings makes the score hard to trust

Questions and answers

Is the Cusimax 20 Bar worth it?
At $189.99 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, it is a cheap way to get espresso and a grinder in one machine. If you want proven reliability, spend more on a brand with a long track record.
Does 20 bar make better espresso?
No. Espresso is normally brewed around 9 bar, and higher pump ratings are mostly a spec-sheet number. Grind and dose matter more than the bar rating.
Does it come with a grinder?
Yes, the grinder is built into the machine, so you load whole beans and grind per shot. You do not need a separate grinder.
Is it hard to use for a beginner?
A built-in grinder adds steps: you dial in the grind, then dose and tamp. Expect some trial and error before shots taste right.
Is it safe and certified?
Yes, it carries an NRTL listing, which means it was tested by a recognized US safety lab. That covers electrical safety, not build quality.
When is it cheapest?
There is only one new price listed, $189.99 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, so there is no history to time a purchase. Compare against other grinder-equipped machines before buying.
Where is the Cusimax 20 Bar Espresso Machine with Built-in Grinder cheapest?

What do buyers say about the Cusimax 20 Bar Espresso Machine with Built-in Grinder?
