Our take on the Damari Upholstered U-Sectional

The Damari is a four-piece U-shaped sectional from Joss & Main, upholstered in a light gray basketweave fabric over a wood frame with pillow-back cushions. At 150 inches long it seats a large group and wraps around a coffee table or media wall. Its best new price is $10,199 at Wayfair as of November 6, 2026, the only new listing found. That is a premium price for a fabric sectional, so the size and 1,500 lb weight capacity are the main justification.

Best forLarge living rooms and open-plan spacesFamilies who need generous seatingBuyers who want a U-shape that frames a coffee tableAnyone needing a high weight capacity
Pros
  • 150-inch U-shape seats a large group
  • Four separate pieces make delivery and rearrangement easier
  • Pillow-back cushions give a soft, relaxed look
  • Wood frame rated to 1,500 lb total weight
  • Neutral light gray basketweave suits many decors
Cons
  • $10,199 is steep for a fabric-upholstered sectional
  • Light gray basketweave shows stains and wear
  • 150 inches long needs a very large room
  • Pillow-back cushions need regular fluffing and straightening
  • Only one new listing found, so little price competition

Questions and answers

Is the Damari sectional worth $10,199?
It is a large four-piece U-sectional with a 1,500 lb weight capacity, so the price buys size and seating rather than premium upholstery. Comparable fabric U-sectionals often cost less, so compare dimensions and cushion construction before committing.
How big a room does the Damari need?
At 150 inches long, it needs a wall or open floor run of at least 12.5 feet plus clearance for walking around it. A U-shape also needs room in the middle for a coffee table.
What is the Damari made of?
It has a wood frame, fabric upholstery in Macarena Light Gray Basketweave, and pillow-back cushions. It ships as four pieces.
How much weight does it hold?
The listed maximum weight capacity is 1,500 lb across the sectional.
Does the light gray fabric stain easily?
A light basketweave shows spills and dirt more than darker or textured weaves. Treat spills quickly and consider a fabric protector, especially in households with kids or pets.
When is the best time to buy it?
The only new price found is $10,199 at Wayfair as of November 6, 2026. Watch for seasonal furniture sales, since a single listing leaves little room for comparison shopping.
Where is the Damari Upholstered U-Sectional cheapest?
At Wayfair, for $10,199.00, as of our latest check.
