Is the Danby DCR031B1BSLDD worth it?

If you need a narrow 18-inch fridge with a genuine freezer box, it is a reasonable pick. At $329.99 at Newegg as of November 8, 2026, it costs more than basic 3.1 cu. ft. mini fridges, so you are paying for the freezer, light and crisper.

Does it have a real freezer?

Yes. It has a separate freezer box of about 0.9 cu. ft. (6.6 gal), enough for a few frozen meals or an ice tray. It is manual defrost, so ice builds up and needs clearing.

Will it fit under my counter?

It is 33 inches tall, 18 inches wide and 20 inches deep, so it fits under most standard 34- to 36-inch counters. Leave a little clearance behind for airflow.

Can I reverse the door?

Yes. The door is rehingable and ships opening to the right, so you can switch it to open left in a tight corner.

What voltage does it use?

The listed spec is 230V AC. Check the label and your outlet before buying; a 230V unit will not run correctly on a standard US 120V outlet without a step-up transformer.

Compact fridges usually dip during back-to-school and Black Friday sales. Compare the current $329.99 at Newegg against the other two stores before buying.
