Our take on the Daybyi Hybrid Mattress in a Box with Gel Memory Foam and Pocket Springs

The Daybyi Hybrid is a 12-inch Full-size mattress that combines gel memory foam with pocket springs under a Eurotop cover. It ships compressed in a box, so it works for apartments and tight stairwells. The only new price found is $189.99 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026, which is low for a hybrid of this thickness.

Best forBudget shoppers wanting a hybrid under $200Guest rooms and kids' roomsApartment moves and tight stairwellsShoppers who want foam plus spring support
Pros
  • Gel memory foam layer adds cooling and pressure relief over the springs
  • Pocket springs give more bounce and edge support than an all-foam boxed bed
  • 12-inch profile is a standard height for sheets and frames
  • Ships rolled in a box for easy delivery and setup
  • Full size at $189.99 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026 is cheap for a hybrid
Cons
  • Eurotop construction can soften faster than a tight-top mattress
  • Boxed hybrids often need 24 to 72 hours to fully expand
  • No trial period or warranty details are tied to this listing
  • Full size is 54 by 75 inches, short for taller sleepers
  • Spring support may feel too bouncy for couples who want motion isolation

Questions and answers

Is $189.99 a good price for this mattress?
It is a low price for a 12-inch hybrid. The only new price found is $189.99 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026, so there is little to compare it against right now.
How long does it take to expand after unboxing?
Boxed hybrids usually reach full height within 24 to 72 hours. Sleep on it after the first day if you need to, but expect it to feel firmer and thinner at first.
Does it work on an adjustable base?
Pocket-spring hybrids generally flex on adjustable bases, but check the base's weight limit. A 12-inch Full mattress is heavy and needs a base rated for it.
Is it good for couples?
Pocket springs isolate motion better than basic innersprings, but hybrids with foam tops still transfer some movement. Light sleepers may notice a partner shifting.
What size is it?
This is a Full: 54 inches wide, 75 inches long and 12 inches thick. Taller sleepers may prefer a Queen for the extra 5 inches of length.
Is it firm or soft?
A Eurotop over gel foam and springs usually lands in the medium range. It suits back and side sleepers of average weight better than heavy sleepers who need firm support.
Where is the Daybyi Hybrid Mattress in a Box with Gel Memory Foam and Pocket Springs cheapest?
At Walmart, for $189.99, 42% off, as of our latest check.
