Is the Dell Pro 14 Plus worth it at $996.49?

At $996.49 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, it is a fair price for a vPro business laptop with a touch screen and 4-year warranty. Comparable 14-inch business models often cost more once you add the same warranty.

Can I upgrade the RAM or storage?

No on RAM: the 16 GB LPDDR5x is soldered onboard. The M.2 SSD can be swapped, so you can move from 512 GB to 1 TB yourself.

How long does the battery really last?

Dell rates the 55 Wh battery at up to 16 hours. Expect roughly 8 to 11 hours of mixed office work, less with the touch screen at high brightness.

Does it have Thunderbolt or just USB-C?

The listed ports are USB-C, HDMI and Ethernet. Confirm Thunderbolt or USB4 support on the exact model, since USB-C alone does not guarantee it.

What comes in the box?

The laptop, a 65W USB-C charger and the standard paperwork. A stylus and dock are not included.
