Is the Dell Pro Max FCM2250 good for CAD?

Yes. The RTX A1000 is an Nvidia professional card with 8 GB of memory and ISV certifications for apps like SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Pair it with the 32 GB RAM option for larger assemblies.

Can I game on the RTX A1000?

It can run games, but it is a workstation card tuned for stability in professional apps, not frame rates. For gaming, a consumer GeForce desktop is a better fit.

How much RAM should I get?

16 GB is fine for office work and light design. Choose 32 GB if you run CAD, video editing or many browser and app windows at once.

Does it support Wi-Fi 7?

Yes, the listed Wi-Fi standards include Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be), along with Wi-Fi 6 and older standards, and Bluetooth 5.4. You need a Wi-Fi 7 router to see the benefit.
