Does the changing top come off?

Yes. The changing top is a separate piece that lifts off, leaving a standard four-drawer dresser for a kid's room.

Is a changing pad included?

No. The pad is sold separately, so budget for one that fits the top surface.

How big are the drawers?

The two larger drawers measure 30.25 in wide, 13.5 in deep and 6.75 in high. The other two are shallower.

Does it need to be wall mounted?

Wall mounting is recommended for safety, especially in a nursery. The dresser is heavy but can tip if a child climbs it.

New Zealand pine with TSCA-compliant engineered wood, finished by hand and free of lead and phthalates.

Our take on the Delta Children Forever 4 Drawer Dresser with Changing Top

The Delta Children Forever is a solid New Zealand pine dresser with four drawers and a removable changing top that turns it into a nursery station. Two of the drawers are extra deep, and the interlocking drawer system keeps them from pulling out at once. It is a heavy, long-term piece at 145.5 lb, so wall mounting is recommended. The best new price is $599.99 at Wayfair as of November 5, 2026, the only new listing found.
