The Denix Sharps 1859 Carbine Replica is a non-firing metal reproduction of the Civil War-era breech-loading carbine, built for display and collecting rather than shooting. It runs about 40 to 45 inches long and weighs roughly 7.1 lbs, so it needs real wall or cabinet space. At $151.04 at Discount Cutlery as of November 5, 2026, it sits at the low end of what the three new listings charge.

Owners of Denix long-gun replicas generally treat them as display pieces and judge them on looks and weight rather than function. The common praise is the solid metal feel and period-correct shape; the common complaints are finish inconsistencies and parts that feel looser than expected.
