Is the Denon AVR-S570BT worth it over the AVR-S760H?

The S760H adds Dolby Atmos and DTS:X decoding plus Wi-Fi and HEOS streaming for a modest step up in price. If you want height channels or network music, the S760H is the better buy. The S570BT makes sense if you only need 5.2 channels and 8K switching.

Does it support Dolby Atmos?

No. The AVR-S570BT decodes Dolby Digital and DTS surround but not Dolby Atmos or DTS:X. You need at least a 5.1.2-capable model like the AVR-S760H for Atmos.

Can it pass 4K at 120Hz from a PS5 or Xbox Series X?

Yes. Its HDMI 2.1 inputs handle 4K/120Hz and 8K/60Hz at up to 40Gbps, with VRR and ALLM for low-latency gaming. Make sure your TV and cables also support the same modes.

How much power does it deliver per channel?

Denon rates it at 70W RMS per channel into 8 ohms, with a peak figure of 130W. That is enough for most bookshelf and modest floorstanding speakers in a small to mid-size room.

You get the AVR-S570BT receiver and a remote control. Speaker wire, HDMI cables and a calibration microphone are not included.

Does it have Wi-Fi or AirPlay?

No. Wireless music is Bluetooth only, so there is no Wi-Fi, AirPlay 2 or HEOS streaming. For network streaming you would step up to a higher Denon model.
