Is this kit worth it at $129?

At $129 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, it is a low entry price for two tools plus two batteries and a charger. If you need brushless motors or larger batteries, expect to pay more for a higher-tier kit.

How does it compare with DeWalt's brushless combo kits?

This kit uses brushed motors. Brushless DeWalt kits cost more but run cooler, last longer per charge and usually ship with larger batteries. For occasional use, the brushed pair is adequate.

How long do the 2.0 Ah batteries last?

Expect moderate runtime for drilling and driving in light to medium work. For all-day framing or decking, plan on spare batteries or a larger pack.

The DCD793 drill/driver, the DCF840 impact driver, two DCB203 2.0 Ah 20V MAX batteries, a charger and a contractor bag.

Do the batteries fit other DeWalt tools?

Yes. The 20V MAX batteries work across more than 300 DeWalt 20V MAX products, so they carry over to other bare tools you buy.
