Is the DeWalt DCR008 waterproof?

It is IP67 rated, meaning it is dust-tight and can survive being submerged briefly. It is suited to rain, dust and splashes on a job site.

How long does the battery last?

DeWalt claims up to 14 hours of runtime. Real-world time depends on volume, and it charges in about 2 hours with a 5V 1A supply.

Does it come with a charger?

No. The power supply is not included, so you need a 5V 1A USB charger you already own.

It is a small speaker with 3W max and 5W nominal output. It is fine for close listening but will not fill a loud job site.

Can I pair two for stereo?

Yes. It supports stereo pairing with a second unit, though each unit has only one 3-inch woofer.

Our take on the DeWalt Rechargeable Bluetooth Speaker DCR008

The DeWalt DCR008 is a small, rugged Bluetooth speaker built for job sites and outdoor use. It has an IP67 dust and water rating, a carry strap and buckle, and up to 14 hours of runtime from a rechargeable battery. It is a single 3-inch woofer in a 2.0 stereo-pairing setup, so it is a modest 3W to 5W speaker, not a room-filling one. Its best new price is $59.53 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, with two stores listing it new.
