Our take on the Dhole Heated Mattress Pad Dual Control Electric Bed Warmer

The Dhole Heated Mattress Pad is a dual-control electric bed warmer in California King size, about 1 inch thick, with separate settings for each side of the bed. Dual controls are the main draw: two sleepers can set different heat levels on one mattress. No current price was provided, so check the live comparison for where it sits against its recent range before buying.

California King owners wanting a heated layer under the sheets
Pros
  • Dual controls let each side run at its own heat level
  • California King sizing covers large beds
  • Adds about 1 inch of padding under the sheets
  • Heats the mattress rather than just the top of the bed
Cons
  • Cord runs from the pad to an outlet, which limits placement
  • Washing is limited by the wiring and controller
  • Heat settings are zone-based, not per-body-area
  • No price data available to judge value

Questions and answers

Is a heated mattress pad worth it over an electric blanket?
A mattress pad heats from below, so warmth rises through you and the bedding stays on top. An electric blanket heats above you and is easier to move between beds. Couples who want separate settings usually prefer the pad.
How does dual control work?
The pad has two heating zones, one per side, each with its own controller. Each sleeper sets a separate heat level, so one side can be warm while the other stays cool or off.
Can I wash it?
Most heated pads of this type are machine washable only after the controllers and cords are detached, and some allow only spot cleaning. Follow the care label; never wash it with the wiring connected.
Does it fit a California King mattress?
It is sized for a California King, which is 72 by 84 inches. Check the pad's dimensions against your mattress, especially if you use a deep mattress or topper.
When is the cheapest time to buy?
Heated bedding usually drops in price after winter, from late January through spring, and during fall pre-season sales. Compare the current price against its recent range before buying.
