How is the YS300 different from a sound-activated bark collar?

It uses a vibration sensor that detects the throat movement of a bark, not a microphone. That means other dogs barking or loud noises nearby are less likely to trigger a correction.

What stimulation levels does it have?

It has 10 stimulation levels plus a vibration-only mode. Most owners start low and work up until the dog responds without distress.

What size dogs does it fit?

Dogtra rates it for dogs from about 10 pounds and up. The strap adjusts, but very small or short-haired dogs can be hard to fit snugly enough for the sensor.

Yes, the receiver is waterproof, so the dog can wear it in rain or around water.

Does it come with a remote?

No. The YS300 works on its own with no remote or app, so you cannot trigger a correction yourself.

Our take on the Dogtra YS300, No Bark Collar YS300

The Dogtra YS300 is a bark collar that uses a vibration sensor instead of a microphone, so it reacts to the dog's throat movement rather than to sound. It offers 10 stimulation levels plus a vibration-only mode and is built for dogs from about 10 pounds up. It is a simpler, cheaper alternative to Dogtra's programmable collars.
