The Doheny's Pool Prodrive Free Plus is a cordless robotic cleaner for in-ground pools, powered by a lithium battery and weighing 16 lbs. At $499 at Doheny's as of November 3, 2026, it sits at the only new price we track, so there is no recent range to compare against.

Questions and answers

Is the Doheny's Pool Prodrive Free Plus worth $499?
At $499 at Doheny's as of November 3, 2026, it is a reasonable price for a cordless robotic cleaner with dual filtration and self-parking. It makes the most sense if you want no cord and fine-debris pickup rather than wall-climbing performance.
How long does the battery last per cycle?
Doheny's does not publish a runtime figure in the listed specs, so check the product manual for the rated cycle length. Expect shorter runs in dirty pools where the cleaner works harder.
Does it clean pool walls and the waterline?
The listing emphasizes floor vacuuming, dual filtration and self-parking rather than wall climbing. Treat it as a floor-and-fine-debris cleaner first and confirm wall coverage with Doheny's before buying.
What debris can it pick up?
It is rated for sand, dust and dead algae, which suits pools with fine debris. Large leaves and twigs will fill the basket quickly and may need a separate skim.
What comes in the box?
Expect the cleaner, its lithium battery, a charging adapter and the dual filter basket. A caddy or remote is not indicated, so confirm contents with Doheny's.
When is it cheapest?
Only one new price is tracked, $499 at Doheny's as of November 3, 2026, so there is no sale pattern yet. Watch for end-of-season pool promotions.
